Why You’re Doing Everything Right… But Still Feel Off (The Missing Link Most Women Overlook)

I’m a hormone + MTHFR focused wellness coach helping women support their bodies, lead with integrity, and build something meaningful — without hustle or burnout. I lead the top team in Michigan in my company. I love doing business with women like me, leading their homes in health + wellness and aren’t afraid to put in the work to put money in their families accounts.

You’re eating clean.
You’re getting your workouts in.
You’re trying to stay consistent.

And somehow… you still feel off.

Low energy.
Stubborn weight.
Mood swings that don’t make sense.
That “something is just not clicking” feeling you can’t quite explain.

If that’s you, I want you to hear this clearly:
you’re not crazy… and you’re not doing it wrong.
But there might be a missing piece.

My “this isn’t adding up” moment

After having my boys (two years apart), I remember thinking,
“Okay… I’m just a tired mom now.”

And for a while, I accepted that.

But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

I was doing the things I had always done:

  • working out

  • eating well

  • staying consistent

Yet my energy was off. My body felt different. My mood felt unpredictable.

It didn’t match the effort I was putting in.

And that’s when I started digging deeper.

The missing link most women aren’t told about

That’s when I came across the MTHFR gene mutation.

Stay with me — I’m not about to get overly clinical on you.

Here’s what matters:

This gene affects how your body processes and uses key nutrients, especially B vitamins.
Which means it directly impacts:

  • energy production

  • hormone balance

  • detox pathways

  • mood regulation

So you can be doing all the right things
but if your body isn’t processing nutrients properly, you’re not getting the full benefit.

Where most women go wrong

This is the part no one really explains.

Most women will:

  • grab random supplements and hope they work

  • take the standard versions of vitamins

  • focus only on food and workouts

  • completely overlook detox support and nervous system health

And listen, I did the same thing at first.

knew I had the gene…
but I wasn’t actually supporting my body differently because of it.

What actually changed everything for me

The shift didn’t come from doing more.
It came from doing things more intentionally.

I started supporting my body based on what it actually needed.

That looked like:

  • using the right forms of vitamins (this matters more than people think)

  • prioritizing protein and blood sugar balance daily

  • supporting detox pathways instead of ignoring them

  • staying consistent with supplements that actually made sense for my body

And over time, things started to click.

My energy came back.
My mood stabilized.
My body responded again.

Not overnight… but steadily and in a way that finally felt aligned.

If you’ve been feeling this way…

If you’re reading this and thinking,
“Wait… this is exactly how I feel…”

I want you to know there’s a reason.

And more importantly — there’s a way to support your body through it.

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life.
You just need to make sure what you’re doing is actually working with your body.

Where to start

I put together a simple starting point for women who feel like they’re doing everything right but still not seeing or feeling the results they should.

It’s the exact approach I wish I had followed sooner.

You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You just might need a better strategy.

And once you have that… everything changes.
